The Edwards Aquifer Ecosystem cannot speak for itself. Only citizens who take the time to learn the ways of the land, water, wildlife, and people can speak in favor of policies that will protect and sustain the Aquifer and its contributing watersheds. Advocating for protection of Barton Springs, the Edwards Aquifer, and their Hill Country watersheds is the heart of what we do.
If you would like to schedule a presentation, contact Jill Carpenter at 477-2320 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
We also like to engage in outdoors, hands-on education, particularly tours of Barton Springs and Barton Creek. If you would like to have the SOS Alliance give a tour to a group of friends or families, contact Jill.
If you would like to bring together some friends and family for a social gathering, we would be happy to speak to any group that can be assembled.
We are also trying to expand our on-line and classroom education efforts. If you would like to assist in this effort, please contact Jill.
