Tell City Council to Increase Water Conservation and Stop Spending on the proposed $849 MILLION Water Treatment Plant

In the midst of severe drought and an economic recession, the Austin Water Utility is asking our City Council to spend $1 billion building a new water treatment plant on Lake Travis, which is dropping near record low levels. With improved water conservation efforts, we can keep our water use flat and avoid expensive new treatment plants for decades.

Now is the time to speak up FOR aggressive water conservation and AGAINST wasteful spending on a water plant that we simply don’t need.
